南南東、浅間隠山より見る草津白根山。中央が本白根火砕丘。右の白色部が湯釜・水釜火口などがある白根火砕丘に広がる変質帯。その後方に志賀高原火山群の横手山。右端中央に草津温泉街。2014年3月上旬より火山性地震が発生し、この時点でも立入規制が続いていた。2014年10月19日撮影。
