鳥海山 ______ Chokai San

地質陰影図（西→東、25°）。手前が猿穴溶岩（赤茶色）。奥に、右に開いた西鳥海馬蹄形カルデラ、その奥には左に開く東鳥海馬蹄形カルデラが見える。いずれも内部を新期の溶岩流が流れ下っている。

Nishi Chokai Horseshoeshaped Caldera (rightward-open) and Higashi Chokai Horseshoe-shaped Caldera (leftward-open) are located near the summit area. Caldera floors are filled with younger-stage lava flows.
