地質陰影図（北東→南西、35°）。榛名山は直径約25 kmの成層火山体で、山頂部には3×2 kmの榛名カルデラが存在し、カルデラ内外に溶岩ドーム群が形成されている。6世紀後半から7世紀初頭にかけて形成された二ッ岳溶岩ドームは相馬山溶岩ドームを破壊して形成された火口内に成長している。その周囲には軽石流堆積物が広がる。	作成	中島和敏
