The license for the Seamless Digital Geological Map of Japan at 1:200,000 conforms to the Government of Japan Standard Terms of Use, Version 2.0, as with other websites of the Geological Survey of Japan, AIST. Web pages, downloadable files, and Web APIs may be freely reused, including modification, provided that the source is properly cited. No application procedure is required.

  • ※The elevation values used on the geological map display pages are derived from the Elevation Tile data, based on the Fundamental Geospatial Data Digital Elevation Model, provided by the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan.
