Rock Specimen
For the measurements of magnetic susceptibility, NRM and densities, cylindrical
specimens (3~6 pieces) with the size of 1”length x 1”diameter (or 25mm
x 25mm φ) were cored from each block sample with the weight of several
kg, which were collected from outcrops.
For the ultrasonic velocity measurement, a cubic specimen (6 cm in length)
was prepared from a block sample with the weight of several kg.
Powdered specimens were used for the measurement of thermomagnetic curve.
